One buyer, five verticals.

Stratum Connector serves a single archetype across industries: the enterprise reliability or asset leader whose organization already captures drone inspection data and already runs a CMMS — but where the seam between the two is still a planner retyping a PDF. Below, the drone-inspection use case and the CMMS commonly deployed in each vertical.

Petrochemical & Refining

Corrosion, flares, and tank exteriors on a turnaround clock.

Drone use case: Flare-stack tip inspections, external tank shell and roof surveys, piperack and structural corrosion mapping, and thermal surveys of insulated lines — often driven by turnaround planning and RBI cycles.

CMMS commonly deployed: IBM Maximo is dominant across process industries, frequently alongside SAP PM. Findings map to MXSR service requests tied to functional-location hierarchies.

Electric Utilities & Power Generation

T&D networks and generation assets across a wide footprint.

Drone use case: Transmission-tower and conductor inspection, substation thermal surveys, cooling-tower and stack condition assessment, and solar-array electroluminescence / thermal fault detection across dispersed sites.

CMMS commonly deployed: IBM Maximo (including Maximo for Utilities) and SAP PM. Detections resolve to asset IDs and become prioritized notifications or service requests.

Data Center Operators

Envelope integrity and rooftop mechanical at scale.

Drone use case: Roof-membrane condition surveys, rooftop CRAC / chiller-plant thermal inspection, generator-yard and switchgear enclosure checks, and periodic envelope surveys across a multi-site fleet where uptime is non-negotiable.

CMMS commonly deployed: ServiceNow (often via the FSM / hardware asset workflows) and Fiix. Findings push as incidents, requests, or work orders through native REST APIs.

Higher Education Campuses

Distributed roofs and facades across an aging portfolio.

Drone use case: Roof and facade condition surveys across dozens of buildings, athletic-facility and stadium structure inspection, and deferred-maintenance documentation for capital-planning committees.

CMMS commonly deployed: Dynamics 365, Fiix, and facilities-management platforms. Structured findings become work orders and feed deferred-maintenance backlogs.

Heavy Manufacturing

Overhead structures where downtime is the dominant risk.

Drone use case: Crane-runway and overhead-structure inspection, roof and skylight surveys over active production, dust-collection and ductwork condition checks, and thermal surveys of high-bay electrical — anywhere an unplanned shutdown is the expensive outcome.

CMMS commonly deployed: SAP PM and IBM Maximo, with Fiix / Rockwell in Rockwell-heavy plants. Findings map to failure codes and priorities per asset class.

Not on the list?

If you run drones and a CMMS, we can map the seam.

Airports, ports, mining, pulp & paper, pharma, water / wastewater — the pattern is the same. Any drone platform in, any CMMS out. Tell us your stack and we'll map it.

The Common Thread

Different assets. Same integration gap.

Every one of these verticals has already invested in capture and in a system of record. What none of them bought was the layer that connects the two.
